The Las Vegas Belgian Business Club began with a simple frustration: finding the Belgian business community here should not feel like searching in the dark.
The idea behind the Club
A network I was looking for myself
As Director of Partnerships, I wanted to build the kind of business network I could not find in Las Vegas: a place where Belgians and friends of Belgium can do business with people they understand, in a culture they know, while learning how to serve a state they know less well.
From a missing connection to a shared opportunity
Belgium has a strong instinct for trust, craft and long-term relationships. Las Vegas brings speed, ambition and an extraordinary concentration of opportunity. LVBBC exists to connect those strengths — not as a social club alone, but as a working network where introductions become conversations and conversations become business.
An experience carried across the Atlantic
My experience with the Belgian Chamber of Commerce in Canada showed me the value of a trusted Belgian business community abroad. That experience now informs the Las Vegas chapter: keep the cultural connection genuine, make the network useful and turn shared understanding into opportunity.
A taste of home, made for Vegas
The Club also makes room for the things that create belonging: the dishes and drinks we grew up with, the Belgian events we know, and the easy conversations that begin around a familiar table. That cultural connection is not separate from business; it is what makes trusted business possible.
