The path, in four steps

Choose the right visa
Belgium is an E-2 treaty country: investors and their key staff can apply. Other routes exist, such as the L-1 for transfers within a company. An immigration lawyer decides which one fits — the Club can tell you what the E-2 process looks like from the inside.

Set up your company in Nevada
Registration with the Nevada Secretary of State, a state business licence, a bank account. The order matters, and some steps take longer than you expect.

Settle in
Social Security number, Nevada driver's licence, housing, insurance. The first weeks are a list of offices — better to know it before you land.

Register with the consulate
Belgians living in Nevada fall under the Consulate General in Los Angeles. Registering keeps your passport and identity card renewals simple, and lets the consulate reach you.
